ACTOR • PERFORMING ARTIST
Hi! I'm Julia Resnick;
an actor based in New York, NY.
Julia originally grew up in New Jersey, where she made her theatre debut as the Mad Hatter at age six and has been performing ever since. She later got her Acting BFA at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. She is now based in New York City.
Julia most recently played Chloe Coverly in Pittsburgh Playhouse's production of Arcadia by Tom Stoppard. She was also recently a part of the ensemble in the world premiere of the pop-opera, One-Log Bridge at the New Hazlett Theater. Some of her other recent credits include Ester (Dry Land), Loud Stone (Eurydice), Muriel McComber (Ah, Wilderness!), and The Courier (1776). She also performed with the New York Pops annual Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall for four years, through which she has been able to perform alongside incredible performers, including Alex Newell, Ashley Park, Danny Burstein, Stark Sands, Lena Hall, and more!
Julia is a founding member of the improv/sketch comedy group; Wenches. Her radio show, The Golden Hour, which played on WPPJ 670 AM from 2023-2025, explored the different ways to define nostalgia through music.
Aside from performing, other activities she enjoys are writing, collecting books (and sometimes reading them), playing video games, painting her nails, and being with her lovely cat; Virginia.
Make sure to follow her on Instagram to keep up with her work!
